At Wealth Beacon Group Foundation, we believe housing is more than just four walls — it’s a foundation for dignity, power, and legacy. On July 9th, we had the opportunity to collaborate with The Breed’s Black Wall Street Network and ConnCorps The Lab to host a transformative masterclass:

“More Than a Roof: How Stable Housing Builds Power, Dignity, and Legacy.”

This wasn’t just another community conversation — it was an intentional space to unpack truth, offer solutions, and inspire action.

Co-founders Amir and Yvette Glenn had the privilege of leading this deeply moving presentation, bringing passion, lived experience, and purpose to the forefront. They shared the heart and soul behind Wealth Beacon Group Foundation’s mission — not just what we do, but why we do it. The conversation didn’t just skim the surface or focus on numbers. It dug deep into the emotional toll of housing instability, the generational trauma it creates, and the power of reclaiming stability as a human right. This wasn’t a lecture — it was a call to heal, build, and reimagine what’s possible for our communities. The conversation moved beyond the statistics — it touched the soul.

We introduced our signature transformation model:

T.E.E. – Therapy, Education, Execution — a holistic framework to guide families from crisis to stability:

💡 What is T.E.E.?

  • Therapy – Healing from the emotional and generational trauma that comes with poverty, housing instability, and scarcity

  • Education – Gaining financial knowledge, learning real estate strategy, and understanding the true principles of wealth-building

  • Execution – Putting that knowledge into action through intentional decisions, long-term planning, and ownership

💬 We Also Talked About This Truth: You Don’t Have to Do It Alone

One of the most important takeaways from the masterclass was the power of group economics. Amir and Yvette shared real-life examples and strategies of how families and close friends can come together to purchase property — even with modest individual incomes.

We walked through scenarios like:

  • 3 to 4 family members combining incomes to purchase a multi-family home

  • Leveraging Section 8 or rental income to offset mortgages

  • Dividing household expenses to reduce financial stress

  • Creating ownership agreements and exit strategies that protect relationships and build equity

These strategies aren’t just theory — they’re being used right now to help families break generational cycles and begin building real, lasting wealth.

🏡 Highlights from the Masterclass:

  • Stable housing is the launchpad. Once housing is secured, everything else — from therapy to financial planning — becomes possible.

  • You can’t build wealth without wellness. Mental and emotional healing must come before sustainable progress.

  • Legacy is lived, not just left. And it starts with a plan, a roof, and a team you trust.

  • Wealth is a team sport. We must normalize collaboration over competition in our communities.

Although the event was intentionally intimate, the impact was real. Attendees left with renewed energy, practical tools, and a fresh vision of what’s possible when housing is treated as the first step toward generational transformation.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share space and build with Black Wall Street Network and ConnCorps The Lab, whose platforms made this conversation possible.

At Wealth Beacon Group Foundation, this is just the beginning. We’re helping families go from shelters to ownership — from surviving to thriving — through housing with a purpose, healing-centered strategies, and financial education rooted in legacy-building.

Let’s build — together.
