Among these, Christian Community Action plays a pivotal role by providing transitional housing and helping families secure Section 8 vouchers, a crucial first step in WBG’s housing ladder. The ARISE Center, part of Christian Community Action’s programs, offers comprehensive services to stabilize families, including advocacy and case management, ensuring a seamless transition from shelters to permanent housing. These partnerships are integral to WBG’s mission of guiding families toward self-sufficiency and stability.

 

In addition, WBG has joined forces with financial education and support initiatives such as Bank On, CT Money School, and VITA, all powered by ACT-CT. These programs provide critical resources like budgeting, debt management, and tax preparation, empowering families to build strong financial foundations. Collaborations with the Yale Child Study Center further enhances WBG’s wrap-around services by addressing mental health and emotional well-being. Meanwhile, Liberty Bank supports WBG's homeownership goals through programs like the Homebuyers Education initiative and the Good Neighbor Mortgage, making pathways to homeownership accessible and affordable.
