This is where transformation begins. The Empowerment Hub is home to WBG’s Ladder Track Program, a comprehensive system designed to guide individuals and families from homelessness to homeownership.
The first step in this journey is SHINE Academy (Smart Habits Inspiring Next-Level Excellence), which equips participants with essential skills in personal finance, budgeting, debt management, credit repair, and homeownership education. These foundational tools help families establish stability and build toward self-sufficiency.
From there, participants can advance through additional programs within the Ladder Track, including:

TRAC (Tenant Responsibility & Accountability Certification) – Preparing tenants with the knowledge and accountability to become great renters.

BTBH (Bridges to Better Housing) – A consulting and training initiative that strengthens housing providers, municipalities, and social service organizations to better support families in need.

The program emphasizes accountability, equipping families with practical tools to avoid eviction risks, strengthen rental histories, and position themselves for future homeownership opportunities. BTBH (Bridges to Better Housing) is Wealth Beacon Group Foundation’s innovative training and consulting program designed to strengthen housing providers, municipalities, and social service organizations. BTBH equips teams with practical tools and proven strategies to better prepare tenants for housing, improve landlord engagement, and expand access to stable rental opportunities. Through a Train-the-Trainer model, BTBH empowers staff to deliver a customized Tenant Certification course within their own organizations. This approach ensures housing providers and case managers can consistently prepare tenants for successful, long-term tenancies while fostering stronger, more collaborative landlord-tenant relationships. BTBH is more than a consulting service—it’s a partnership model that breaks down barriers to housing, reduces turnover risks, and creates sustainable systems that benefit both families and landlords. By aligning organizations with effective practices, BTBH helps open more doors for families in need and builds stronger housing networks for communities.
