SHINE Academy, which stands for Smart Habits Inspiring Next Level Excellence, is a financial empowerment program created by Wealth Beacon Group Foundation to help individuals and families build the knowledge, confidence, and habits needed to achieve long term financial stability. Through a series of engaging workshops, participants learn practical skills such as budgeting, banking, credit building, entrepreneurship, and financial planning. The program is designed to meet people where they are and provide clear, real world tools that help participants take control of their financial future. SHINE Academy is delivered in partnership with community organizations committed to strengthening families and expanding opportunity. Program partners include Connex Credit Union, which provides expertise on banking and financial services, and the Stetson Branch of the New Haven Free Public Library, which serves as a welcoming community space where residents can gather, learn, and grow. Together, these partnerships ensure that participants receive trusted guidance, valuable resources, and access to institutions that can support their financial journey beyond the classroom.
