About the Role
As a Volunteer with Wealth Beacon Group Foundation, you will play an important role in supporting the organization’s mission and day to day operations. Volunteers assist with housing preparation, community engagement, and special projects that help families transition from homelessness to stable housing.
Key responsibilities may include:
• Assisting with housing preparation tasks such as painting, cleaning, organizing, and light maintenance
• Supporting move in days by helping transport supplies and set up apartments
• Assisting with community events, outreach activities, and donation drives
• Providing administrative or organizational support as needed
• Working collaboratively with staff, tenants, and other volunteers
• Following safety guidelines and respecting confidentiality

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to follow instructions and work respectfully with staff, tenants, and other volunteers
Willingness to respect confidentiality and the privacy of families served
Reliable communication and punctuality for scheduled volunteer activities
Physical requirements (for certain volunteer activities):
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, such as paint, supplies, or light furniture
Ability to stand, bend, and move for short periods of time
Comfortable assisting with light cleaning, organizing, painting, or basic preparation tasks
Not all volunteer opportunities require physical activity. Roles will be assigned based on current needs and volunteer comfort level.
