About the Role
As a Board Member at Wealth Beacon Group Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and supporting its mission. Board Members provide oversight, help secure funding, and serve as ambassadors within the community. Key responsibilities include:
• Attending bi-monthly board meetings and participating in strategic discussions
• Assisting with fundraising and outreach efforts, including identifying potential partners
• Advocating for the foundation’s mission in the community and beyond
• Offering expertise in your area of knowledge to support organizational growth

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to follow instructions and work respectfully with staff, tenants, and other volunteers
Willingness to respect confidentiality and the privacy of families served
Reliable communication and punctuality for scheduled volunteer activities
Physical requirements (for certain volunteer activities):
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, such as paint, supplies, or light furniture
Ability to stand, bend, and move for short periods of time
Comfortable assisting with light cleaning, organizing, painting, or basic preparation tasks
Not all volunteer opportunities require physical activity. Roles will be assigned based on current needs and volunteer comfort level.
